- These songs were created in the winter of 2007 and recorded in January of 2008. The music was inspired by a girl I used to be friends with for a few years. Gradually we fell in love one summer when she was home from College in Boston. The first song was a Christmas present (I feel for you). I had a lot of fun making it, and falling in love always makes for fun happy songs. When I went to see my Dad in France during the winter she went to Boston for a family visit and hooked back up with her x-boyfriend. I had no idea what was going on during my stay and it was very confusing. I couldn't understand the distance and the vague reasons for not wanting to be together so I just wrote songs according to how I was feeling. Eventually it was time to go back to America and that's when I was told what really happened, a month later. Obviously that was totally unnecessary to put me through so much confusion but it made for some nice songs anyhow. So I sent her the CD and I may have had a thank you via text message but I think that's about it! Yeah that was awesome. lol It's kinda funny now looking back on it, but it sure wasn't funny then! I hope you enjoy it!
